Reclaim your comfort and restore your rest.
Where it starts
Jaw pain and poor sleep become your new normal.
You stop noticing how much they affect your life until you finally get the treatment you need. Dr. Kevin Tan specializes in diagnosing and treating both TMJ disorders and obstructive sleep apnea with a wellness-focused approach, so you can reclaim your comfort and your rest.
TMJ / TMD
Repair function. Relieve pain.
The temporomandibular joints on either side of your head connect your jaw to your skull. Because they move forward, back and sideways, they are among the most complex joints in your body. Inflammation or other problems with these joints is called TMD.
Symptoms of TMD
- Pain in your jaw, face, neck, and ears
- Migraine-like headaches
- Pain and pressure behind your eyes
- Pain, clicking, or popping when opening and closing your mouth
- A jaw that feels out of joint, or sore jaw muscles
- Difficulty chewing or biting down
- Swollen face

Treatment options
Custom Orthotic
Teeth grinding and clenching are a common cause of TMD. Dr. Kevin creates a digital impression of your teeth to craft a custom night guard you can wear while sleeping. This takes the pressure off your teeth and jaw for a restful night and a pain-free morning.
Jaw Repositioning
Non-surgical jaw repositioning treatment designed to gently realign your bite and open your airway.
Rapid Palatal Expansion (MARPE)
Dr. Kevin uses a gentle, innovative treatment known as MARPE — microimplant-assisted rapid palatal expansion — to expand your upper jaw, increasing airway space.
Laser Therapy
A sterile laser can shrink some of the soft tissue in your airway, opening it up to more airflow. Both the procedure and the recovery are quick.
Jaw Massage
We'll show you how to gently massage your jaw muscles a few times throughout the day without causing a flare-up.
Botox
Dr. Kevin can deliver targeted treatment to tight or spasming muscles with Botox®. It relaxes the overworked muscles to reduce pain and stop the cycle of grinding and clenching.
Sleep apnea solutions
Snoring problem? Trouble sleeping?
Beyond the noise, snoring can be a sign of something more serious. While you sleep, the muscles that hold your airway open relax; the sound comes from tissue vibrating as breath passes through a narrowed airway.
Snoring can be a warning sign of obstructive sleep apnea — a condition in which breathing stops for ten seconds or more, several times a night, depriving the brain of oxygen. Nearly 30 million Americans experience interrupted breathing during sleep, but only about 6 million have been diagnosed. Roughly 80% of people with sleep apnea don’t know they have it.
Common signs of OSA
- Daytime sleepiness
- Persistent snoring
- Pauses in breathing (usually noticed by a partner)
- Waking up with dry mouth or a headache
- Feeling exhausted after a full night's sleep
- High blood pressure
- Weight issues
- Inability to concentrate
- Irritability or moodiness

Benefits of treatment
- More energy
- More restorative sleep
- Increased focus
- Increased clarity
- Overall better health
Diagnostic technology
SleepStat BLE
High-resolution pulse oximeter that records oxygen levels throughout the night, giving Dr. Kevin the data he needs to assess and treat airway health with precision.
Large View CBCT
Full head-to-neck CT imaging for a complete picture of your oral and airway anatomy. Better imaging means better diagnosis and treatment.
Once Dr. Kevin has accurately diagnosed you, he’ll design a personalized oral appliance that holds your jaw in a forward position while you sleep, allowing your airway to stay open for an uninterrupted, restorative night’s sleep.

Why Dr. Kevin cares about this
As an elite athlete he could never reach his potential because he couldn't get enough oxygen. The cause turned out to be a narrow airway — and understanding that changed everything.
